SILLY MONKEYS PLAYHOUSE understands and respects that every child is unique and learns different skills at various speeds and in various ways. In the context of early childhood education, some children learn by quiet observation while others thrive through active participation, especially in our music classes for kids and sensory exploration classes.
Our classes come with age suggestions, but feel free to explore and consult with our expert teacher if you wish to join a specific class.
Music
Ages 6-12 months

Join our music classes for kids as we jam to popular early childhood songs. Class activities include chants, small and large movement, and instrumental play. This class offers a rich experience of sensory exploration, enhancing visual, auditory, and social stimulation while your child discovers and has fun during this very important stage of early childhood education.

Join our engaging early childhood education program, featuring fun, silly, and playful music classes for kids that will evoke your childhood memories. In this sensory exploration class, we will sing, dance, and play, and you can expect some furry friends to join us for our music activities. The class is divided into two parts: approximately 25 minutes of music and 20 minutes in our beautiful playground. This structure ensures your child receives visual, auditory, and social stimulation during music time while enhancing gross motor skills during playground time. Additionally, at the end of the class, we will indulge your child's curiosity with a surprise exploration. Classes are available in both English and Spanish.

From a curious crawler to a wobbly walker, this class offers a solid hour of early childhood education focused on discovery and development. Divided into three engaging sections, it includes music classes for kids that encourage rhythm and movement, sensory exploration classes where your little one will experience different textures each week—such as slimy, cold, gooey, and sometimes a bit messy—and finally, we emphasize gross motor skills in our state-of-the-art indoor playground designed specifically for this age group. Experience a fun, silly, and playful class packed with all the early childhood stimulation your child needs at this stage.
Baby Music & Sensory
Ages 3 - 6 months

A sweet first class designed especially for babies 3–6 months old. Through music, gentle movement, sensory exploration and playful interaction, babies will experience visual, tactile and auditory stimulation while supporting early brain development, social and body awareness.
Most importantly, each activity encourages trust, bonding and connection between baby and caregiver while discovering, playing and growing together.
Sensory Exploration & Playground
Ages 1 - 3 years old

Our Sensory Exploration class, part of our early childhood education program, is specially designed for children ages 1–3 to spark imagination, encourage creative play, and inspire self-expression through hands-on sensory experiences. Each week features exciting themed activities like Dinosaur World, Baby Washing, Feeding Farm Animals, and more!
Children explore sensory bins while engaging in painting, building, pouring, filling, movement, and imaginative play using a variety of textures, colors, and materials. Through this playful exploration, little ones not only strengthen fine motor skills but also build confidence, enhance social interaction, improve problem-solving abilities, and foster creativity in a fun and nurturing environment.

This class brings out the playfulness in your little one, essential for early childhood education. Your observer is now a doer; they are more independent, active, and curious. This class stimulates all their curiosities and exposes them to creativity and expression through engaging music classes for kids. The sensory exploration classes feature art projects that change weekly, allowing for new discoveries and experiences every week for a full year. The class is divided into 3 sections of about 20 minutes each and is available in English or Spanish.
ABC's Music, Art & playground
Ages 2.5 - 3.5 years old

This class introduces early childhood education concepts, such as ABCs, letter sounds, numbers, shapes, colors, and tracing skills. Through fun and engaging lessons, which may include elements of music classes for kids and sensory exploration classes, children will:
- Strengthen cognitive skills
- Practice fine motor skills
- Improve classroom behavior
- Boost creativity and self-expression
- Build confidence and independence
- Enhance social skills and collaboration
Note: This is not a drop-off class; an adult must accompany the child.
Learn, Art & Playground
Ages 2.5 - 3.5 years old

Our Pre-K program, designed to promote early childhood education, builds a strong foundation in early learning. With a focus on themed learning (e.g., 'All About Octopus'), group play, basic math, and advanced art projects, children engage in sensory exploration classes that enhance their fine motor skills and creativity. Through fun and engaging lessons, children will:
- Strengthen cognitive skills
- Practice fine motor skills
- Improve classroom behavior
- Boost creativity and self-expression
- Build confidence
- Develop problem-solving skills
- Enhance social skills and collaboration
- Prepare for school
Note: This is not a drop-off class; an adult must accompany the child.

Fees & Membership
Our early childhood education sessions run year-round, so you can begin at your convenience. Music classes for kids open daily and weekly based on availability—simply register when you’re ready to join and get ready for some silly fun! 🎉 If a class is full, we encourage you to check back weekly, as spots often become available.
Each session runs for 8 consecutive weeks, 1 class per week

* Classes are NOT refundable and NON-transferable
MAKE UPS POLICY
* Make ups must be scheduled and consumed during your current session in ANY class that is age appropriate.
* Make ups are subject to space availability and should be scheduled in advance. Please text 305 444 4448 the date before you plan to do your make up, and we will respond and confirm space availability by text.
*Make-ups can be completed either in advance or after the missed class date, as long as they are completed within your current session.
* Make ups expire the last day of your session. Sorry, NO exceptions.
* Make ups DO NOT extend sessions or roll over into new sessions. Sorry, NO exceptions.
* Make up schedules that are not attended will be considered consumed even if you did not show in class.
* Make ups cannot be transferred to siblings or other non-members or members.
* Make ups are NOT guaranteed or granted to any member or session if all classes are at capacity.
More Silly NOTES
* Runny noses or coughs cannot participate in classes. Please use your make-ups for days under the weather.
* SMP will clean and disinfect prior, during, in between, and after each class.
* During our art sessions, we will provide all materials, aprons or smocks; however, we suggest having a change of clothes on hand for the little ones. Parents/caregivers may also get some paint on their clothes, so please be advised to dress appropriately. All of our paints are NON-TOXIC and most of our paints are washable.
* @ SMP Shoe removal is mandatory for everyone. Children should be BAREFOOTED and adults should wear socks.
