Silly Director & Teacher
Georgia is the founder and owner of Silly Monkeys Playhouse, a place she lovingly created in 2010 with one simple goal: to give young children a joyful environment where they can learn, explore, build confidence, and create meaningful connections through play.
With more than 17 years of experience in early childhood stimulation, Georgia has dedicated her career to understanding how children develop during their most important early years. Her philosophy is that the best learning happens when children feel safe, engaged, curious, and free to explore at their own pace.
A firm believer in the power of music, Georgia has completed specialized training in early childhood music education and has witnessed firsthand how music helps children develop language, attention, memory, coordination, emotional expression, and social skills. Every class incorporates music, movement, rhythm, and singing because she believes these experiences nurture not only learning but also the special bond between children and their caregivers.
Georgia's creative background began with her studies in Art, where she developed a deep appreciation for creativity and self-expression. Today, that passion is reflected in Silly Monkeys' process-based art experiences, where children are encouraged to experiment, discover, and create freely without the pressure of producing a perfect project.
Years before sensory play became widely recognized, Georgia was already researching, designing, and implementing sensory experiences for infants and toddlers. Through years of study, observation, and hands-on practice, she became a pioneer in bringing sensory stimulation into early childhood programs, creating carefully planned activities that promote cognitive, physical, emotional, and social development while encouraging children to learn naturally through exploration.
One of Georgia's greatest passions is helping children develop confidence and positive social relationships from an early age. Over the years, she has developed engaging socialization techniques that gently encourage even the shyest children to participate, communicate, interact with others, and become comfortable in a group setting. Every class is intentionally designed to foster independence, curiosity, empathy, and self-confidence while respecting each child's individual pace and personality.
For Georgia, Silly Monkeys has always been more than a children's program—it is a community where families create lasting memories, friendships grow, and children discover the joy of learning through music, art, movement, sensory exploration, and play.
Her greatest reward is watching children who first arrived quietly holding a parent's hand grow into confident, curious little learners, while supporting parents through one of the most meaningful stages of their child's development.
